This depends on the type of lighting you choose. Table lamps and floor lamps simply plug into standard electrical sockets and require no installation. However, wall lights, ceiling lights, and pendant lights need to be wired into your mains electrical supply and should be installed by a qualified electrician for safety and compliance with UK building regulations.

Our lighting uses standard UK bulb fittings - primarily E27 (large screw) for wall lights and some lamps, and E14 (small screw) for ceiling lights and table lamps. Most lights require bulbs to be purchased separately, allowing you to choose LED, halogen, or traditional bulbs to suit your needs. Some LED lamps have integrated lighting that doesn't require separate bulbs.

Many of our lights support dimming functionality. LED lamps often include built-in brightness controls with multiple levels, whilst traditional lights can be dimmed using compatible dimmer switches and dimmable bulbs. Wall lights and pendant lights marked as 'dimmable' work with appropriate dimmer controls. Always check individual product specifications for dimming capability.
